Paint Ball Pete’s, The Ultimate In Paintball Skirmish
For Andys birthday we went to paint skirmish, very cool fun, but also very expensive. Not something i would recomend as a weekly sport. I used 300 paint balls all up, but i was very conservative. If you only want to do this once in your life i think you should go all out and get 600-1200 and just shoot the whole time. The accuracy isn’t all that great, each ball flying off in different directions. (well mine did anyway, some guns were better) The more you shoot and faster the quicker and more chance you have of shooting the person in long range. The paint balls travel at 300 feet per second and go about 100-150 meters slowing down gradually. At End of their range If someones shooting you, catch them and reload them in your gun :)
Prices: $66 For your basic package, includes 100 paint balls. Once you pay that you then can pay the following for more paint balls. Everyone in the package gets hemet, overalls and a pouch to keep all your ammo canisters in it. Girls get neck and check protectors as well for free in the package. If you are going boys dont forget to take some gloves and a hector protector as you’ll get hit with a $7 fee for hiring them.
$ 22.00 INC. GST PER 100 PAINTBALLS (22 cents per ball)
$ 40.00 INC. GST PER 200 PAINTBALLS (20 cents per ball)
$ 115 INC. GST PER 600 PAINTBALLS (19 cents per ball)
$ 210.00 INC. GST PER 1200 PAINTBALLS (17 cents per ball)
$ 340.00 INC. GST PER 2000 PAINTBALLS (17 cents per ball)
As you can see it gets pretty expensive. If you don’t have the money i recommend just getting the 200 paint balls and conserving, go all out on the last round when its free for all.
The experience was very postive and I think everyone should give it a go at some stage in their life.
