Facebook VS Myspace

I’ve been hearing about facebook and how much better it is than myspace for a while on the podcasts i listen to, today someone invited me to join so I did.
 Not many people must know about it because I only had 3 people in my address book that had joined apart from the 150 people i have when i joined myspace. It isn’t even blocked on the school computers yet. I want to make this profile private so only friend can view it, only adding people i know as it can show all my personal information such as mobile numbers and address ect.. HSC Music Recording

Yesterday I recorded one of my HSC pieces at school. I recorded my piece Take to the hills (irish jig) by Mary Cohen on my Electric violin. Took about an hour, we had three times that we actually saved it. I’ll proberly have the problem of choosing between them next week. After about 5-10 playings of the song we actually got worse and made more mistakes! Anyone else experienced that with recording? I felt like we should stop and have another go tomorrow. Anyway that reocrding should be up soon under the new music column so everyone can have a listen.

Snow, Snow & Guess What?? More Snow!!

You guessed it! I’m on the way to my favourite winter sport again, skiing at Perisher Blue for 2 weeks and returnring on the 3rd to record my HSC music pieces at school. You may be thinking how I’m going to get my HSC study done? Well I’m going to be skiing in the day and studying at night. It will be interesting to see how much i get done. I’ll try and post some pictures of the snow for those who are missing out. My posts might be a bit quiet over the next 2 weeks as I’m concentrating 100% on getting ym study done before the trials.

What the hec does Ardor Pes Mean?

Well my name is Rhys, a given name of Welsh Origin that translates to the word Ardor, meaning Passion, Eagerness & Strength.

How old are you & where are you from?

I am 20 years old.  I live in NSW Australia.

Where do you study?

I finished the HSC in 2007 and am now studying a Bach. Commerce @ Newcastle University.

What do you do in your spare time?

I’m Christian and my hobbies/interests include Skiing, Tennis, Table Tennis, Music, Surfing, Camping, kayaking and leading a year 9 bible study at CCECYOUTH.

Besides studying, I Work four days a week at an accounting firm, do freelance webdesign and computer services, while also maintaining a few online business’s. Yes it pays enough to fill that car of mine :) I also work partime during the winter (when i have time) at at Perisher Blue as a Ski Instructor.

Why do you blog?

I blog because I am passionate about sharing my experiences with you, I write about them and evangelize to people like yourself. I’m here to do all your dirty research and read all that small fine print.

NO, I’m actually blogging because i make money from this. I like the fame and fortune. I’m literally swimming in money at the expense of people like yourself :P
