Goto the keypad on the phone and type this:

EG. For telstra, type in **5005*7672*+61418706700# and call it. Now it should be set.

Big news today on the online smsfront.
SMSfun.com.au Launches New Site
Smsfun V2 has launched! It contains a few new features and, from what I hear, more free sms are on their way! They have even bought and forwarded a domain of an old sms site, intazaar.com, to their new site.
Intazaar Officially Dead
Intazaar’s domain has been re-registered by the company that owns smsfun, m2media. It has been covered in ads and links to the smsfun site. After lots of hopes of it returning it seems you can stop waiting and move on to the new sms sites featured in my post "Free Sms In Australia".
