HSC Results 2007 + UAI Calculator
HSC results are in. Heres how i went:
Economics 79
STD English 71
Maths 2U 67
Music1 88
Physics 69
Software Design 80
I used a UAI calculator to work out my UAI before i get it tomorrow, I should be getting around 70 which means i should get into the top 3 courses down on my preference list. :)
If you have stumbled upon here from google and are looking for a uai calculator you can download from my mirror below:
Click here to download (2007 version)
EDIT: 17/12/2008 – This calculator should show pretty close results to what HSC will get in 2009 also, please let me know how accurate it is :)

Hi,
I think thats actually an overestimate of what you’d get.
the uai estimate for 2006 would be 50.45 and 2007 would be 47.55
Your subjects VA and business studies are averages which brings you down to the 50’s and general maths is very low. If you raise these subjects to 80 you’d see a big increase to around a 70 uai. to get a 80uai you’d be looking at 85 for all subjects excluding english where you can keep your 73.
cheers,

dear clickclack
i put your marks on the 2007 UAI calculator and it gave me a UAI of 88.20
the rank of your subject from highest to lowest are
1 unit religion, cafs, English, Maths, PDHPE, then geography it gets counted as 1 unit because its the lowest so they take your religion study and it pushes it up
if you didn’t have religion studies then your uai would be 83.4 so that 1 unit saved you alot
are you that good in Cafs??? i do that subject too but i think i will get maximum 89% coz they always have strange essays waiting lol
good luck
i hope that UAI made you happy its Albert Einstein’s hsc calculator search for it and download it if you want so you can change the marks as you wish .

it estimated 99.30 for me and my uai ended up being 99.50, so sometimes you do get a bit higher than it predicts but it’s usually pretty accurate
